  1.    Congradulations!  You have obtained a copy of CEDAR 1.00, the Shareware
  2.    version.

  4.    CEDAR is a directory program with a difference. The most important
  5.    advantage that CEDAR has over other directory programs is that it will
  6.    allow you to list your files in color.  You can choose what color you
  7.    want each type of file displayed in based on the file extention (assuming
  8.    you have a color moniter).  As well CEDAR will list your files in 1, 2, 4
  9.    or 6 columns, it will sort your files and it will allow you to supply more
  10.    than one wildcard on the commandline.

  12.    For example, you can have all .COM, .EXE, and .BAT files shown in red,
  13.    while all .DOC and .TXT files are green, all your subdirectories are in
  14.    magenta, and all other files are white.  You can set up to 200 different
  15.    file extention/color pairs (20 in the Shareware version) at a time and
  16.    change them easily.  In addition CEDAR is configurable, you can set the
  17.    sort and display parameters at the same time as the colors.  Whenever you
  18.    run CEDAR it will always list the files the way you want it to.

  21.       Read.me     :  The file you are reading now.
  22.       Cedar100.exe:  The main executable program.
  23.       Cedar.doc   :  Documentation file.
  24.       Seecolor.exe:  Program to show all the colors on your display.
  25.       Register.frm:  Registration Form, please do it.

  27.    Registration for CEDAR is $15.00 US or $17.00 CDN.  When you register you

  30.       The latest registered version of CEDAR. (Version 2.00 or above)

  32.       The registered version of these programs and documentation are similar
  33.       except they have more options. See the file CEDAR.DOC for more
  34.       details.  As well the registered version can set 200 color
  35.       combinations instead of 20. The Shareware version of CEDAR is NOT
  36.       Crippleware.  It is both functional and usefull.  I just want to give
  37.       people a reason to register their copy.
